Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, affirmed that the country is moving swiftly to localize components of renewable energy, with a particular focus on the solar panel industry.
He noted that the government has held a series of intensive meetings with both local and international companies to strengthen and develop this vital sector.
During a press conference following the weekly Cabinet meeting, Madbouly explained that the state aims to accelerate the implementation of clean energy projects in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and plans for transitioning to a green economy. He also emphasized that enhancing the role of the private sector is a key pillar in achieving these goals and supporting the localization of advanced technology in the Egyptian market.
